All references to “PDCL”, “we”, “us”, or “our” in this Privacy Policy refer to
In this Privacy Policy, “personal information” means information that can identify you such as your name, e-mail address, phone number, driver’s licence number, and credit card number. Personal information does not include data that does not specifically identify you, such as anonymized or aggregated data.
By participating in the
Information We Collect
When you apply for enrollment and participate in the Drive Program, and when you use the services available through the Drive Program website/application, we may collect the following information from you and/or the
- Contact Information, such as name, address, city, province and postal code, email address, and telephone number;
- Driver’s licence information, such as driver’s licence number, the driver’s licence expiration date, date of birth, and the province and date of issuance;
- Payment Information, such as credit card type, expiration date and name on the credit card;
- Device information, such as device type, device operating system, type of browser, and language preference;
- Information about your use of the Drive Program services, such as information about Vehicle reservation requests, date and time services were provided, amount charged, distance traveled, Vehicle-related information (discussed further under the Vehicle-Related Information section below); and,
- Aggregate data, based on your interaction with the Drive Program.
We may also collect your personal information from our affiliates and
Clear gifs may be used in the emails we send to you to track which emails are opened and which links are clicked by customers. This information is used to improve our Drive Program services.
Vehicle-Related Information
Vehicles may be equipped with vehicle tracking and other technology. We use the Global Positioning System (GPS), a network of satellites that allows us to determine the location of Vehicles. This information is transmitted to us and can be stored for extended periods. We use this information for a variety of important purposes. For example, we use GPS data to provide roadside assistance, to ensure that a Vehicle is available at the place and time you have reserved, to ensure that a Vehicle is not driven to unauthorized locations, and to locate a lost or stolen Vehicle. We also maintain in-vehicle and in-equipment technologies to track and monitor performance of Vehicles and to assist us with ensuring that Vehicles are used only in accordance with applicable laws and the rules and policies of the Drive Program. Disabling, disconnecting or destroying any such technology, device or equipment is strictly prohibited. While using the Drive Program services, we will always track your Vehicle’s location.
How We Use Your Information
We may use your personal information to:
- Evaluate your application to participate in the Drive Program;
- Verify your identity and perform checks to protect against fraud, or when otherwise required;
- Provide the Drive Program services to you, including to facilitate reservation services, payments, and send receipts for services you request;
- Market and communicate with you regarding PDCL products, services, and/or events;
- Communicate with you about your account;
- Respond to your inquiries, comments, or postings;
- Improve, troubleshoot and customize our products, services, and customer service offerings;
- Facilitate our internal operations such as enhancing our products and services, customer retention, and to conduct research and analysis to better understand our customers’ preferences and the Drive Program;
- Provide Vehicle support and service;
- Evaluate Vehicle performance and safety;
- Process payments, collect overdue accounts, and other activities necessary for the administration and enforcement of your account;
- Comply with legal requirements; and/or
- Protect the security and integrity of our business and our legal interests.
Communication Preferences
You may use the “unsubscribe” link in any promotional electronic communication you receive from us. You can also contact us, as described below, to manage your marketing preferences. If you choose not to receive promotional e-mails or mailings from PDCL, we may still contact you about Vehicle recalls and for other transactional purposes.
Protective and Legal Uses
We may collect, use and disclose your personal information for legal reasons as we believe necessary or appropriate, including:
under applicable law, including laws outside your province or country of residence;
to process, handle or otherwise respond to claims for damages, including claims or demands for bodily injury or property damage;
to enforce our policies and rules and the terms and conditions of your Drive Program agreement;
to recover Vehicles, equipment or any monies due, such as through debt collection agencies;
to comply with legal process and to respond to requests from public and government authorities;
to protect our operations, rights, privacy, safety or property, and/or that of our subsidiaries, you or others; and
to allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.
How We Share Your Information
PDCL does not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your personal information:
- With third parties who provide a variety of services on our behalf, including payment processing, marketing research and analysis, advertising, identity verification, and fraud protection services;
- With emergency service providers;
- With members of the affiliated
Porsche group of companies, includingPorsche Centres offering the Drive Program, to verify the accuracy of your information on file or for promotional or other purposes; - To comply with the law, a court order, or other legal process, or in connection with an investigation;
- As may be necessary to protect PDCL’s rights and interests, those of our affiliates and authorized
Porsche Centres, and our (and their) respective employees, customers, visitors, users, or any other person or entity; - For internal audit purposes;
- To enforce our agreement(s);
- If we sell all or part of our business or if it is relevant to a business transaction;
- In aggregated or other non-personally identifiable form; and/or
- In accordance with your consent.

Third Party Websites and Services
Certain tools provided by PDCL may require the use of third party services for activities such as payment facilitation. These third party websites and services have separate privacy policies and information practices. This Privacy Policy does not cover those third party websites and services and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their terms carefully.
How We Protect Your Information
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from loss, theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, and modification. The protections we use depend on the sensitivity of the information. These measures include:
- Technical measures like encryption to protect sensitive information transferred over the internet;
- Employee privacy and security training;
- Restricting access to personal information by employees, affiliates, and service providers to those who need it to perform their respective function;
- Requiring our affiliates and third-party service providers to provide substantially the same level of protection as provided by PDCL.
PDCL retains your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose identified when you provide your personal information to us or our third party providers, for any new purposes to which you have consented, or as required by law.
PDCL and its service providers may store and process your personal information outside of Canada. When a service provider is located outside Canada, your personal information may be processed and stored in a country whose laws vary from Canada’s (e.g. the United States, Germany), and where the government may compel the disclosure of your personal information under local laws.

By applying for enrollment in, and participating in, the Drive Program, and when you use the services available through the Drive Program website/application, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy, as amended from time to time. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not submit any personal information to us.
If you wish to withdraw your consent to our collection, use, and sharing of your personal information, please contact us. Please note that we rely on your consent to collect, use, and share your personal information to provide you with our products and services and that your withdrawal of consent may impact your ability to access such products and services and/or our ability to provide them to you.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
PDCL reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy in its sole discretion at any time. Changes will be effective immediately once posted to
