Grand Opening of the Second Porsche Centre in GuangzhouPorsche China further enhances its dealer network in South China

Shanghai/Guangzhou. On October 12, 2017, Porsche Centre Guangzhou Panyu opened with a grand celebration. As the second Porsche Centre in Guangzhou, it further consolidates Porsche’s development in South China and underlines the brand’s value in this potential market. Mr. David Xiao, Vice President Sales of Porsche China; Mr. Weize Wang, Chairman and investor of China ZhengTong Auto; Mr. Miller Liu, General Manager of Porsche Centre Guangzhou Panyu; and Mr. Tan Bin, the Deputy District Chief of Guangzhou Panyu, along with guests and journalists, attended the ceremony to witness this memorable event.

Porsche Centre Guangzhou Panyu is spread across 9,867 square metres and includes a state-of-the-art showroom that is capable of simultaneously displaying 18 Porsche sports cars. The service centre is equipped with 20 work bays and 3 direct dialogue bays. Apart from advanced maintenance equipment conforming to Porsche’s global standards, Porsche Centre Guangzhou Panyu boasts a professional sales and after-sales service team, providing Porsche customers and enthusiasts with comprehensive services, and helping them to choose and customise their dream Porsche sports car. Porsche Centre Guangzhou Panyu also offers a wide range of Porsche Exclusive, Tequipment and Porsche Driver’s Selection.

Porsche Centre Guangzhou Panyu is the third Porsche Centre invested by China ZhengTong Auto Services Holdings Limited. Mr. Miller Liu said, “Our cooperation with Porsche in China began in 2009. Over the past 8 years, in association with Porsche China, China ZhengTong Auto has cultivated an experienced team of professionals with a deep understanding of the Porsche brand. I believe that this is the cornerstone of the future development of Porsche Centre Guangzhou Panyu.”

At the opening ceremony, the hand-made 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series also made a stunning appearance. The Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series is a powerful and unique model which can provide 446 kW (607 HP). 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series is limited to 500 units globally. Thanks to the additional aerodynamic components, the maximum torque of this model can reach 750Nm, from static acceleration to 100Km/h in 2.9 seconds, top speed exceeding 330Km/h.

In addition, the Porsche 911 GT1 from the Le Mans race track was displayed in Guangzhou for the first time. Porsche’s impressive sports cars, including the new 911 Carrera, Macan GTS, Cayenne S, the new 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman, and the luxury sedan Panamera 4S with Porsche’s pure sports gene, were also displayed at the grand opening of Porsche Centre Guangzhou Panyu. With their rich heritage and Porsche’s sporty appeal, these powerful sports cars offer unmatched performance and incredible driving experiences to customers.
