Porsche 911 GT3 (type 996)
From model year 1999, the GT3 filled the sporty niche in the model range. The GT3 had a maximum speed of 302 km/h. The GT3 was available with a Clubsport Package for use in motorsport.
From model year 2003 onwards, the revised engine delivered even more power and reached a maximum speed of 306 km/h.
The 911 GT3 RS, launched in model year 2004, was designed as a road-approved racing car.
