A double celebration saw Porsche Centre Egypt, SMG Engineering Automotive Company, on the 8th of October had officially launched its new facility in Abu Rawash , as it also unveiled the new Cayenne Coupé. The opening marked the country’s first custom-built Porsche Centre, combining a showroom and workshop under one roof to offer a best-in-class customer service experience.
The new building is spread across 3,386 sqm and will soon be equipped with charging infrastructure and high-voltage battery repair capabilities. This is in preparation for the arrival of the Taycan, the first fully electric sports car produced by the Stuttgart-based manufacturer. In addition, the second Porsche facility in Egypt houses a seven-bay mechanical workshop with repair and maintenance equipment, as well as a body shop and paint shop.
