We asked some members of our community from around the globe what Porsche means to them as it celebrates 75 years of Porsche sportscars

Aircraft engineer Iiris Vuorma fulfilled a life-long dream when she acquired a Porsche 997 Turbo
“The Porsche community in Finland, just like it is all over the world, is like one big family. I like the atmosphere so much. We support each other and spend time together at events because we all enjoy driving and looking at fantastic cars. I’m really proud to be part of an incredible group of people who helped me make the decision to get one of the best cars in the world.”Thailand • Tenn Xoomsai: Porsche collector and community builder

Thailand-based film director, Tenn Xoomsai, has built up an impressive Porsche collection
“The most amazing thing for me about Porsche, other than the driving spirit, is the community that comes with it. You meet so many new, cool people that are like-minded. I’ll go on a vacation in Europe or America and if I see a guy parking a 911 I just walk up to him and start a conversation. It seems like every Porsche owner has their unique own story about why they love Porsche – like how they got into the brand, why they wanted a certain model or why they picked a particular colour.”USA • Lisa Taylor: Porsche racer and collector

Lisa Taylor is a serial Porsche buyer and regularly races her cars – which includes several 911 GT3 models
“The 911 runs through my blood. I’ve driven one every day since 1982. Porsche is my life. Every single day is a Porsche day. Every weekend I’m taking a Porsche to a show, a cars and coffee event or going on a drive with collector friends. I don’t know what I would do without a Porsche – I’d be bored! I think Los Angeles and Orange County has the biggest Porsche community anywhere in the world. I can’t imagine life without a Porsche!”
