There’s a Porsche event for every Porsche fan, young or old. A place where the community gathers to share stories of their love for the brand, the cars, the lifestyle. Here’s our pick of the best for 2025.Best Porsche event for winter sport fansAUSTRIA • F.A.T. International Ice Race • Zell am See • 1 FebruaryHeld just a few weeks after Christmas, the F.A.T. International Ice Race has already become a prime winter fixture for petrolheads. First held in 1952 to commemorate the late Ferdinand Porsche, the founder of Porsche AG, it ran until 1972 before it underwent a lengthy hiatus.Revived in 2019 by Ferdi Porsche – Ferdinand Porsche’s great-grandson – it attracts an array of exciting racecars, road cars and top drivers to battle it out on an icy circuit in Zell am See, Austria, close to the Porsche family home. Beautiful backdrop, incredible cars, committed racing… who doesn’t like the sound of that?Visit the F.A.T. And while it encompasses exhibits of just about any marque you’ve ever heard of – and many more you may not have – being held in the hometown of Porsche means that Retro Classics always feature plenty of Zuffenhausen favourites.Visit Retro ClassicsBest Porsche event for Porsche fans in CaliforniaUSA • Air/Water • California • 26 AprilBrought to you by the people behind Luftgekühlt, the event dedicated to celebrating the air-cooled era of Porsche cars, Air/Water – as you may expect from its name – encompasses the whole range of Porsche cars. It’s an “…art show with cars with architectural backdrops”, as Patrick Long, co-founder of Luftgekühlt with Jeff Zwart, describes it.From air-cooled era to water-cooled, sportscars to racecars, SUV to EV, classic to contemporary – even the diesel tractors that Porsche made in the 1950s – if it’s made by Porsche then it has a place here.Visit Air/WaterWhere legends are made: Porsche is the most successful manufacturer of all-time at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with 19 overall wins Photo: PorscheBest Porsche event for festival fansFRANCE • 24 Hours of Le Mans • Circuit de la Sarthe, Le Mans • 11-15 JunePorsche and the world’s greatest endurance race are inextricably linked – with 19 overall victories, it’s the most successful manufacturer of all time. If winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans has been the goal of racing drivers, manufacturers and teams for over a century (last year was the race’s 100th anniversary), then attending Le Mans weekend is something that all motorsport fans, and more, have on their bucket list. Naturally, the race itself is the centrepiece of the event, but the festival vibe is a big attraction too with live music, food and displays. That said, nothing quite takes the breath away as much as watching the sun go down on a warm Saturday evening as cars roar past, lighting up the grandstands and woodland as they head into the night.Visit the 24 Hours of Le MansBest Porsche event for a car paradeUSA • 2025 Porsche Parade • Oklahoma City, Oklahoma • July 6-12The global Porsche community is wide and varied, but at its heart lies its clubs – and the biggest of them all is the Porsche Club of America. Formed in Washington DC in September 1955, by 2022 its membership had risen to 155,000. One of its standout events of the year is the Porsche Parade, which this year heads to Oklahoma City. Across an entire week from 6 July, the city will host a huge range of Porsche-related events, from the parade itself, along with its allied Concours d’Elegance show of Porsche cars of all ages, makes and models, to rallies, an awards show and events for kids.Visit the Porsche ParadeWith more than 200,000 visitors over four days, England’s Goodwood Festival of Speed is one of the biggest car events on the calendar and always boasts a big Porsche presence Photo: PorscheBest Porsche event for an iconic venueUK • Goodwood Festival of Speed • Goodwood, West Sussex, England • 10-13 JulyThere’s plenty of reasons why the Goodwood Festival of Speed attracts over 200,000 people, from all over the world, each year. A stunning location in the rolling countryside of West Sussex, England is one reason, as well as the stately home at the heart of it, the famous hill climb – and its iconic wall – some of the biggest names in motorsport, past and present… but more than anything it’s the cars that are the stars here.Thousands of them take over the grounds of Goodwood House over the four days of the festival – road cars, racecars, new cars, old cars and more – presented by the biggest names in automotive and motor racing, like Porsche and Porsche Motorsport. Visit the Goodwood Festival of SpeedBest Porsche event for Monterey Car WeekUSA • Werks Reunion • Monterey, California • 15 AugustEach year, in the middle of August, the axis of the automotive world shifts to the beautiful Monterey Peninsula in northern California. You can spend each day hopping from one event to another, whether it be a concours show of some of the world’s rarest – and most expensive – cars, classic car auctions, luxury and sportscar gatherings and displays of some of the greatest racecars in motorsport history. One that is high up on everyone’s list is the Werks Reunion. Held on the Monterey Pines Golf Course and organised by the Porsche Club of America (PCA), the Werks Reunion at Monterey Car Week gathers together some of the best Porsche cars – classic to new – from across the United States and beyond. This year it’s announced its featured car is the gamechanging, ducktailed 911 Carrera model from 1973-1974. But there are many more cars to marvel at too. The event is another in the ongoing celebrations to mark the 70th anniversary of PCA. What’s more, its free for spectators (although parking fees do apply).Visit Werks ReunionCool by name, cool by nature: California’s Luftgekühlt show is dedicated to the Porsche air-cooled era Photo: PorscheBest Porsche event for air-cooled carsUSA • Luft 11: Luftgekühlt • California • 4 OctoberOne of the coolest – quite literally – events in the Porsche calendar, the 11th annual showcase of all things air-cooled in the Porsche world takes place in early October.Luftgekühlt is more than just a chance to revel in the beauty of the earliest Porsche sportscars – and the engineering expertise that went into them – under sunny Californian skies. It’s also an opportunity to immerse yourself in an exciting sub-culture within the Porsche community. A trip down memory lane it may be, but such is the vibrant nature of the air-cooled scene, it also buzzes with a highly contemporary vibe too. A place where street art and fashion, cool architecture and stunning cars intersect.Visit LuftgekühltFounded by film-maker and Porsche collector Tenn Xoomsai, colourful Das Treffen in Thailand is now one of Asia’s biggest Porsche events Photo: PorscheBest Porsche event for fans in South-East AsiaTHAILAND • Das Treffen 10 • Bangkok • December (TBC)When Thai film-maker and Porsche fan Tenn Xoomsai came up with the idea to showcase his love for Porsche over a decade ago, he surely couldn’t have dreamed of just how big Das Treffen would become. As Das Treffen – its name translates from German simply as ‘the meeting’ – celebrates its 10th outing in 2025, it’s now firmly established as one of the biggest annual Porsche events in Asia.
