Situated 120 km north of the Arctic Circle, the snow-covered paradise of the Porsche Arctic Centre in Levi, Finland becomes the stage for the Porsche Ice Experience each winter. Of course, the colour of a car has no impact on how well it can drift. But the Taycan GTS that we’re driving here is painted in Frozen Blue Metallic – it just feels like the perfect choice for this experience, both on a visual and technical level. The icy white-blue tracks and glittering landscape of the Porsche Arctic Centre provide the perfect backdrop for a harmonious meeting of technology, style and wild nature up close. And a combination of instantaneous electric power, superior chassis, balanced performance and precise steering makes the Taycan GTS perfect for the task. Don’t just take our word for it – in January 2025, right here at the Porsche Arctic Centre, Porsche Experience instructor Jens Richter broke the Guinness World Record for the longest continuous vehicle drift on ice by an electric vehicle (17.503 km to be exact).
