Find out how much the different Taycan models cost plus loads more essential info about the groundbreaking all-electric sportscar from Porsche
The Porsche Taycan is the first all-electric sportscar from Porsche. From launch it redefined not only what a Porsche could be but also what an electric sportscar could do. Originally launched as a four-door saloon in powerful Turbo and Turbo S form, the range has expanded over time to offer a variety of models that retain the dynamic characteristics of every Porsche with zero tailpipe emissions. A new body style was introduced in 2021 with the addition of the Taycan Cross Turismo – a five-door model that builds on the strengths of the four-door Taycan saloon, adding extra everyday practicality with a higher roofline, a large tailgate opening, more luggage space and an extra 20mm of ground clearance. Another innovation arrived in 2022 in the shape of the Taycan Sport Turismo – a third derivative that combines the body shape of the Taycan Cross Turismo with the ride height of the Taycan saloon to create a unique combination of versatility and sporting ability. The all-electric Porsche Taycan was first launched in 2019. In 2024, the model range received a number of significant upgrades to the likes of performance, range and its design Photo: PorscheThe Taycan has always been technologically advanced, but an extensive update in 2024 kept it at the cutting edge. A range of powertrain upgrades deliver more power, faster acceleration, longer battery range, improved energy efficiency and quicker, more stable charging. Chassis refinements and an overall weight reduction make it even more thrilling to drive, while new design elements, updated tech features and the latest Porsche Driver Experience interface were introduced. How much is the Porsche Taycan?
