Scheduled Maintenance and Annual Checks
Your Porsche car needs regular maintenance for optimum safety and performance, so we have developed various ways to help you manage the cost of this, such as a transparent menu of pricing for scheduled service work. Service and Maintenance Pricing Menu.
Porsche services need only be repeated every two years or 20,000 miles (12,000 miles for 911 GT models) for cars built after 2005 and your Porsche Centre will remind you when your service is due.
Between services, however, we still recommend that you visit your Porsche Centre for an annual check. Your car is as individual as you are and every driver has a different driving style. An annual check can be tailored to your requirements and can cover the wear levels on your brakes, clutch and tyres, for example, as well as fluid levels and the latest software updates.
Porsche Centres offer a variety of additional solutions to keep you mobile and enable you to make effective use of the time whilst your car is being serviced. We can collect and deliver your car for service and maintenance work or can offer you a courtesy car whilst the work is being carried out, subject to your Porsche Centre's insurance requirements. You may decide to wait at your Porsche Centre where you will be given refreshments and can use the free Wi-Fi service or make use of the meeting rooms offered by many Porsche Centres, if they are booked in advance.
Repair and Maintenance
From time to time your Porsche may require additional maintenance or repair to preserve its performance and safety. Your Porsche Centre provides a full repair service and has all of the specialist tools and systems required to diagnose and repair your car as quickly as possible. All of the above mobility services are available to you while your Porsche is at the Centre. All of the Genuine Porsche Parts used by our Centres are covered by our Porsche Parts Warranty.
Tyre fitting
All Porsche Centres can precision fit ‘N’ rated tyres and offer a wheel alignment and balancing service. Unique to Porsche, the ‘N’ rating is given to tyres that have been approved by Porsche engineers in Weissach. Porsche Centres guarantee this standard by only fitting ‘N’ rated tyres to Porsche vehicles.
Advances in tyre technology mean that tyre wear or even mixing different brands, patterns or ‘N’ numbers, even if from the same manufacturer, could result in an increase in road noise and significant changes in shock absorption, steering and smooth handling. Your Porsche Centre stocks a wide range of ‘N’ rated tyres for all Porsche models to maintain your car’s performance.
Body repairs
Porsche Cars Great Britain Ltd recommends specialist independent repairers for body and paint services to the Porsche Centre network. Each facility is independently audited to ensure compliance with strict Porsche Operating Standards, which are periodically updated as technical developments are made within the vehicle range.
A Porsche Recommended Repairer must consistently maintain these standards by continually investing in the necessary training, tooling and equipment defined by Porsche, as well as adhering to the repair processes set out by the Porsche factory.
Over sixty five years of experience, expertise and knowledge goes into providing perfect repair solutions for every Porsche. By choosing a Recommended Repairer you can rest assured the vehicle is repaired back to the same standard as when it rolled off the production line.
