For 10 days every August, fans of automotive excellence converge on the Monterey Peninsula to share their love of engineering, craft and design. With car shows, auctions, exhibits and some of the most stunning automobiles ever created on display, it’s a gathering of the devoted unlike any other.
Porsche has been a mainstay throughout the event’s history. And this year, Porsche made sure to make its presence known everywhere you looked. Parties. Panels, Vehicle premieres. Races. And more.The Porsche Classic Event VIP party kicked off the week in high style with a thrilling lineup of classic Porsche sports cars, live music, and plenty of opportunities for car enthusiasts to share their passion for all things Porsche. The immersive Porsche Full Service installation featured exclusive consultations, eBike tours and a Porsche/Mobil 1 panel featuring prominent women racecar drivers. The Quail is the crown jewel event at Monterey Car Week, where manufacturers show off their most significant vehicles. There attendees were treated to the public premiere of the Heritage Design Package 50 Years 911 Turbo featuring design and equipment inspired by the 911 Turbo models of the 1970s. They also thrilled to a stunning 911 Speedster variant built by the Sunderwunsch team at Porsche in partnership with Milan car designer Luca Trazzi. Historic Porsche race cars competed in the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion races at Laguna Seca, doing battle with competitive race cars from nearly every era.
